Taking money from someone who is expecting sex and do not supply it is not prostitution. In any society when that transaction happens man shouldn't offer money to woman if they was no spoken word to discuss about sex. Some people earn a living through having a career to con people who offers them money. the woman in the television series, 'Breakfast at Tiffany's, 1961, Paramount was just fortunate that the man she targeted were rich and they found her attractive and offered her money as they fancied her. The man just assumed that she was up for sex after giving her money without confirming before hand. Some people could be facing things like gas and electrical bills during that time the man offers them money. The person takes the money to reduce the strain.
